Healing Waters Clinic. Herbal Flu shot is a specially crafted herbal formulation made by our proprietor, Laurence Layne. Careful studies of immune-boosting herbs and cleansing botanicals has led to the creation of a formulation that is both simple to take and effective on the body and doesn’t taste too bad either.

The Herbal Flu Shot is a blend of eight different herbs, each acting to rid the body of disease, prevent sickness, and ward off viral infection.

The Chinese herbs featured in this proprietary blend are;

Perilla (Zi Su Ye)
Licorice (Gan Cao)
Poria (Fu Ling)
Jujube (Da Zao)
Isatidis (Ban Lan Gen)
Astragalus (Huang Qi)
Angelica (Dang Gui)
Ginger (Gan Jiang)

How to Brew:

Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot. Lower heat to a simmer and add the whole bag of herbs to the water. Let steep for 15 minutes, and then strain the herbs from the tea. Allow the pot (now full of tea) to cool off before straining the tea and pouring it into a gallon jug or similarly suitable vessel. Refrigerate, and drink a glass of the tea every day to get the most benefit from the herbs. This should keep for about 3-4 weeks.
