Herb Pharm Licorice Tincture is a demulcent and soothing to mucous membranes; expectorant. Antiviral. Anti-inflammatory. Liver protective. Adrenal gland tonic. Mildly laxative in large doses. Sweet-tasting corrigent.*

Herb Pharm prepares their Licorice Tincture from the root & stolon of Glycyrrhiza glabra plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

To assure optimal extraction of Licorice’s bioactive compounds, the root & stolon are hand-harvested only in the autumn, are carefully cleaned and dried, and are then thoroughly extracted into fresh licorice tincture.

Licorice Tincture is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then they confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Herb Pharm liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.
