Herb Pharm Heartsease Tincture is a soothing, demulcent expectorant and diuretic. Lowers fevers. Mild sedative. Gentle and effective alterative for babies and young children.*

Used to fight general infections, fever, colds, flu and coughs. Skin eruptions, hives, eczema, cradle cap and milk-crust. Smelly, staining or burning urine. Violet is especially indicated, and is very safe for babies and young children.

Herb Pharm prepares their Heartsease tincture from fresh (undried) flowering Viola tricolor plants which are Certified Organically Grown on private farms in southern Oregon without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The herbs are hand-picked in early May, making this one of the first harvests each year.

To assure optimal extraction of Violet’s bioactive compounds, the plants are hand-harvested only when in full-flower, and are then taken directly to thelaboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then they confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Herb Pharm liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

Herb Pharm Violet is never fumigated or irradiated.
