Chinese Bulk Herbs – Ginseng Leaf (Ren Shen Ye)
Ginseng leaf historical uses were to improve the memory and relieve stress and fatigue. Today, its used for the same thing but 20 years of studies have shown it may reinforce and revitalize in times of fatigue or when you need greater concentration powers.
Panax ginseng may be used for depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome, and for boosting the immune system. It can also be used to fight infections in a lung disease called cystic fibrosis.
Panax ginseng can be used for improving thinking, concentration, memory and work efficiency, physical stamina, and athletic endurance. It can also be used to deal with stressful situations and it improves a sense of well-being. Sometimes is called “adaptogen” when used in this manner.
Panax ginseng Is Not American ginseng, “Siberian ginseng”, or Panax pseudo-ginseng. The root of ginseng has similar uses; the main advantage of leaf over the root is the cost and source availability. It has the same active ingredients, although with more abundance than ginseng root.

Cautions:
Panax Ginseng should not be used by those with high blood pressure due to the stimulating effects when used in large doses or for prolonged periods of time.
