Trichosanthes Seed or Gua Lou Ren helps with the chest and digestive systems. It keeps it moist so you don’t have constipation. It can also be added to other formulas.

Clinical Use (Chinese):
Clears and transforms phlegm-heat, expands the chest. Moistens the intestines – constipation due to dryness along with other heat signs. Expels pus and promotes healing of sores (mastitis) – an adjunctive (works well with other herbs) herb.
