Laurence Layne, Herbalist, Therapist, Natural Healer
Experienced, Knowledgable Herbal Healing
Traditional Herbal Medicine uses non-medical models to help correct health imbalances. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurveda, and Western Physiomedicalism use herbs and foods to strengthen the body, detoxify the tissues, and regulate the nervous system and glands.
Laurence uses holistic assessment methods from traditional systems to determine appropriate herbs for his patients. This includes taking the pulse, looking at the tongue, abdominal palpation, and asking questions. He has wide-ranging experience with supplements, natural remedies, holistic diets such as vegetarianism and macrobiotics, and the naturopathic practices of detoxification and hydrotherapy.
He has had hundreds of classroom hours of training as an herbalist and has had a professional practice since 1992. He has logged thousands of hours of personal experience and study in relation to herbal healing and has seen thousands of people in his role as an herbalist.
Some of Laurence’s most noteworthy educational attainments include graduation from The East West School of Herbology and recognition as an East West clinical herbalist (certification).
