Herb Pharm’s Astragalus Tincture is General immune system tonic that increases production and activity of undifferentiated immune cells, and interferon. Builds blood. Promotes endurance and stamina. Liver protective and restorative. Considered nourishing to the vital force (“chi”) in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Herb Pharm prepares their Astragalus tincture from the roots of Astragalus membranaceus plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

To assure optimal extraction of Astragalus’ bioactive compounds, the roots are hand-harvested only in late autumn, are carefully shade-dried to maintain their full aroma and color, and are then thoroughly extracted to create astragalus tincture.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. The formula is easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

Herb Pharm Astragalus is never fumigated or irradiated.
