Herb Pharm’s Bloodroot Tincture Stimulates mucous membrane secretions and is an expectorant. Bloodroot is also a Topical antifungal ointment.*

Bloodroot stimulates mucous membrane secretions; expectorant. Topical antifungal. Sluggish mucous membranes; general atonic conditions of sinuses, lungs and bronchi, (especially in harsh, dry coughs). Sluggish capillary circulation of skin, and cold extremities. Topically against ringworm or warts.

Herb Pharm prepares their Bloodroot tincture from the rhizome of of Certified Organic Sanguinaria canadensis plants harvested in Kentucky. Bloodroot has a long tradition of use by Native American peoples.

To assure optimal extraction of Bloodroot’s bioactive compounds, the rhizome is hand-harvested in late summer or early autumn, is carefully shade-dried, and is then thoroughly extracted.

Herb Pharm Bloodroot herb is never fumigated or irradiated.
