Healing Waters Clinic – Cinnamon Combination
Healing Waters Clinic Cinnamon Combination is a powerful and flavorful blend of Chinese herbs designed to improve digestive function and warm the body. This combination also helps to reduce sinus inflammation and reduce excess phlegm. This is our take on an ancient Chinese herbal remedy for cold dampness and poor digestion. Features recognizable and potent herbs that each serve a necessary function in benefitting the body and regulating the inner systems.
The herbs featured in this formula are;
Cinnamon Cassia (Gui Zhi) – 2 parts
White Peony (Bai Shao) – 2 parts
Ginger Root (Gan Jiang) – 1 part
Licorice Root (Gan Cao) – 1 part
Jujube Berry (Da Zao) – 1 part
How to Brew:
Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot. Lower heat to a simmer and add the whole bag of herbs to the water. Let steep for 15 minutes, and then strain the herbs from the tea. Allow the pot (now full of tea) to cool off before straining the tea and pouring it into a gallon jug or similarly suitable vessel. Refrigerate, and drink a glass of the tea every day to get the most benefit from the herbs. This should keep for about 3-4 weeks.
