Herb Pharm Cinnamon Tincture is warming to the body, an analgesic, carminative, antiseptic, and antibacterial. It can be used to treat chronic diarrhea, cramps, heart and abdominal pains.and is also used to treat coughing, wheezing, and lower back pains. It is useful for stomach problems; colic, flatulence, indigestion, dysentery, and spasms.*

Cinnamon has a pleasant, aromatic taste. Warming, diffusive stimulant, with gentle astringent influence. Moderately stimulates entire nervous and circulatory systems. Warming to the stomach and intestinal tract; stimulates appetite; antinauseant; carminative. Haemostatic. Recent research shows that several polyphenolic polymer compounds in Cinnamon bark enhance the action of insulin and improve glucose and fat metabolism.

Cinnamon bark has long been known to have many beneficial qualities to the body. Tea and extracts made from the bark of this wonderful tree can help to relieve aches and pains within the digestive system, as well as remedy symptoms stemming from these issues such as indigestion and gas. Herb Pharm prepares their Cinnamon Tincture from the bark of Cinnamomum aromaticum trees which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirms it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Herb Pharm liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

To assure thorough extraction of Cinnamon’s aromatic oils & resins, the bark is hand-harvested and carefully shade-dried to preserve optimal aroma & flavor, and is then thoroughly extracted.
