Herb Pharm Coptis Tincture has been used for infections and fevers as well as hepatitis, respiratory infections and typhoid fever. It can also be used for vaginitis (as a douche) and inflammation of the stomach.

Coptis is an traditional Chinese herb that is known to help clear heat and dampness. Astringent. Anti-inflammatory. Antibacterial, antiviral and antiprotozoal. Cholagogue. Removes toxins and wastes from blood.

Used to fight back against infections and fevers, especially bacterial dysentery, hepatitis, respiratory infections, typhoid fever, and trichomal vaginitis (as douche). Astringent to ulcerations associated with gastroenteritis (inflammation of stomach and intestines) and colitis. Hemostatic for nosebleed and blood in urine, stool, sputum and vomit. Blood purifier for septicemia, carbuncles and abscesses, eruptive dermatitis and eczema. Chronic inflammation of stomach and intestines, and associated bad breath and putrid belching. Topically used as astringent disinfectant to wound, infections, ulcerations, skin eruptions, and ulcerations of mouth and throat (rinse or gargle).

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant.
