Ginger root powder, also known as Gan Jiang, is used for vomiting and congested due to cold or flu with vomiting. This is the same ginger you can buy in the grocery store. It’s very good for morning sickness, sea sickness, and any type of stomach upset.
Ginger root powder stimulates the circulation and can help relieve cramps. The root also promotes perspiration and gastric secretion, improving digestion and relieving gas. The root can also be used in a gargle to relieve sore throats and a poultice to deal with muscle spasms.
