Chinese Bulk Herbs – Honeysuckle (Jin Yin Hua)

Honeysuckle has been used for detoxifying the body. It is mostly used for acute infections and inflammatory conditions. Especially good for poison oak, and other such rashes.

This beautiful and aromatic flower is actually an invasive species in some regions, but is still offered as an ornamental plant and enjoyed for its physical qualities.

Mixed with chrysanthemums it has been used for flus, fevers, and other conditions.

Cooling: bitter taste. Works on blood and liver (clears heat)
