Herb Pharm prepares their Hyssop Tincture from the leaf & flower of Hyssopus officinalis plants which are Certified Organically Grown on private farms without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.
To assure optimal extraction of Hyssop’s bioactive compounds, the plants are hand-harvested while in full flower, are carefully shade-dried & freed of all stem, and are then thoroughly extracted into Hyssop Tincture.
Hyssop Tincture is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then they confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Herb Pharm liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.
Our Hyssop is never fumigated or irradiated.
