Plum Flower Jade Screen Teapills helps with Frequent colds and flu, immune enhancement, and alleviates allergies

Functions:
Tonifies Wei Qi, Strengthens the Spleen, Stabilizes the Exterior, Stops Sweating

Indications:
Wei Qi deficiency presenting with recurrent common colds and flu, spontaneous sweating with little or no exertion, aversion to wind, chronic nasal discharge with copious clear mucus, shortness of breath, chronic respiratory weakness, tendency to itchy skin, pale, shiny complexion, digestive weakness, diarrhea, fatigue, listlessness, low and soft voice. Tongue: pale with a white coat Pulse: floating, deficient, soft

Biomedical Applications:
decreased immunological resistance, recurrent upper respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, atopic asthma, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, mild bronchitis (especially in children), allergic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, chronic colitis

Standard Dosage:
8 pills, 3 x day.

Clinical Dosage:
Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. This formula is designed to be taken in between recurrent colds and flu to strengthen the Wei Qi. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.

Ingredients:
Astragalus membranaceus root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Saposhnikovia divaricata root. – Huang qi, Bai zhu, Fang feng.

Cautions & Contraindications:
Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in hypertension as Huang qi/astragalus may raise blood pressure in some cases.
