Plant Part Extracted: Dried mature fruit
- Juniper berry (Juniperus communis) Certified Organic
- Other Ingredients: Certified organic grain alcohol & distilled water.
Herb Pharm prepares their Juniper Tincture from the fully matured fruit (“berry”) of Juniperus communis shrubs which are Certified Organically Grown or Custom Wildcrafted in their natural wild habitat.
To assure optimal extraction of Juniper’s bioactive compounds, the fruits are hand-harvested only in early autumn (after their color changes from green to bluish-purple) and are then carefully shade-dried and thoroughly extracted into Juniper Tincture.
Juniper Tincture is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then they confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Herb Pharm liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.
Herb Pharm Juniper is never fumigated or irradiated.
