Western Bulk Herbs – Pleurisy Root
Pleurisy root is used to treat respiratory system problems. It can cause sweating that will reduce a fever. The root can be taken to treat dysentery and problems with diarrhea. It can make coughs productive and loosen the tightness in the chest.

Antispasmodic, diaphoretic, expectorant, tonic, carminative and mildly cathartic. Anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and sweat inducer

Cautions:
Do not use Pleurisy root if you are pregnant. Do not use if you have a heart condition or are taking heart medication due to heart stimulating effects. Excessive use may cause nausea and vomiting.
