Chinese Bulk Herbs – Polyporus (Zhu Ling)
Polyporus is a mushroom used in formulas for regulating water for urinary problems, weight loss and other problems where water retention is a problem.
Polyporus is found growing in clusters on the remains of aged oak and beech roots. It has immunostimulating, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and hepatoprotective properties.
Clinical Use (Chinese):
Promotes urination, drains dampness – edema, scanty urination, cloudy painful urination, vaginal discharge, jaundice, diarrhea.

Parts Used:
Sclerotium or center part of mushroom
Properties:
Sweet and bland in flavor, neutral in property, acts on the Kidney and Bladder channels.
