Chinese Bulk Herbs – Prince Ginseng (Tai Zi Shen)
Pseudostellaria root, Tai Zi Shen, or Prince ginseng are all the same herb and they all do the same thing. It strengthens the body’s resistance levels and it aids in digestion. They generate fluid in the body when there’s a problem with summer heat or and illness.
This herb goes by many names but has a relatively straightforward use. Add it to remedies that help boost appetite and digestion.
Clinical Use (Chinese):
Strengthen the spleen, augment Qi – fatigue, reduced appetite. Tonifies lung Qi – spontaneous sweating.
