Neutral, slightly warm. Taste Sweet, slightly bitter, insipid.
Cautions:
Because reishi can decrease the effectiveness of platelets, it should not be taken by people who use anticoagulant medications. It should also be avoided by women who are pregnant or lactating. Should not be taken long term.

Chinese tradition describes reishi mushroom as “Ling Zhi — “the miraculous plant” that has the virtue of raising the dead and giving them life again.”
