Plum Flower Right Side Replenishing Teapills Warms the Kidney, Strengthens Yang, Replenishes Jing-essence, Tonifies Blood

Indications:

Kidney Yang and Jing-essence deficiency presenting with fatigue or exhaustion, listlessness, pain and weakness of the low back and knees, achy joints, cold limbs, cold intolerance, loss of hearing, tinnitus, poor appetite, loose stools with undigested food, impotence, spermatorrhea, declining sexual function, frequent urination, night urination, incontinence, edema in the lower extremities.

Tongue: pale and swollen with a slippery white coat Pulse: deep, weak, slow Biomedical Applications: exhaustion following long-term illness, erectile dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, infertility, anovulation, oligospermia, sperm motility problems, hyperaldosteronism, hypothyroidism, Addison’s disease, chronic asthma, diabetes, chronic nephritis, chronic prostatitis, hypertension, coronary heart disease, progressive muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, systemic lupus erythematosus, leukopenia, anemia, toxemia during pregnancy, learning difficulties, delayed development in children, failure to thrive

Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.

Clinical Dosage:

Administer Plum Flower Right Side Replenishing Teapills half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years. For patients with a tendency to digestive upset, it may be administered along with a small dose of Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan.

Ingredients:

Rehmannia glutinosa root-prep, Dioscorea opposita rhizome, Cornus officinalis fruit, Lycium barbarum fruit, Eucommia ulmoides bark, Cuscuta chinensis seed, Angelica sinensis root, Cinnamomum cassia bark. – Shu di huang, Shan yao, Shan zhu yu, Gou qi zi, Du zhong, Tu si zi, Dang gui, Rou gui.

Cautions & Contraindications:

Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Contraindicated for conditions due to Yin deficiency or excess heat. Use with caution in Spleen Qi deficiency.
