Western Bulk Herbs – Tansy Herb
Western Bulk Herbs Tansy Herb functions as a digestive aid with similar actions to a bitter tonic. Taking this herb in a tea can help to ease the symptoms of dyspepsia. It is also quite effective against worm infestations, particularly threadworm and roundworm. This herb can help stimulate menstruation as an emmenagogue, but do not take during pregnancy. Tansy contains a very potent oil that can be toxic in large doses. As such, it is not recommended for prolonged use. The Latin word “vulgare” means common, making this the common tansy.
