Yunnan Baiyao Jiaonang

Yunnan Baiyao Jiaonang is a traditional chinese medicinal formula designed to help move the blood, alleviate pain and trauma, and reduce swelling and injuries.

This product is a hard capsule and the content is powder from grayish yellow to light brownish yellow; it has a special aroma, slightly cool taste and numbness in the tongue. The insurance pills are red spherical or spheroid-like waterpill with a brown or tan profile, a slight odor and bitter taste.

Function and Indication:

Dispersing blood stasis and hemostasis, activating blood circulation and alleviating pain, detoxication and promoting subsidence of swelling, used in treatemnt for traumatic injury, stagnated blood, and oncotic pain, spitting blood, hemoptysis, hematochezia, hemorrhoid hemorrhage, metrorrhagia and metrostaxia, suppurative infection on boby surface and pyogenic infections, contusion of soft tissue, closed fracture, hemoptysis of bronchiectasis and pulmonary tuberculosis, hemorrhage of peptic ulcer and infection diseases of skin.

Administration and Dosage:

As to wounds by knife, bullet or traumatic injury, no matter how severe they have been, the capsules are administered with warm boiled water by the bleeding wounded. The woudned suffer from stagnated blood, swelling, and pain and no bleeding wounded take the capsules with wine. For patients suffer from diseases of gynecopathy take capsules with wine, but for those suffer from menorrhagia, metrorrhagia take capsules with warm boiled water. For initial stage of venemous sore, take one Yunnan Baiyao capsule and take another portion of medicine powder to mix homogeneously with wine which is used to apply on infectious part. For suppurative sore, oral administration is needed only. For slight injury and other internal hemorrhage symptom, capsules can be administered orally.

Oral administration: Take 1-2 capsules, up to 4 times daily. For children 2-5 years: take 1/4 dosage, 6-12 years: take 1/2 dose). Use the insurance pill at any time for serious injury or ailment.

Contraindications:

Not for pregnant women, those with allergies to Yunnan Baiyao, and defective or purulent skin and mucous membrane.

Precaution:

Avoid fava beans, fish and cold, sour food during medication and within one day after drug withdrawal. Clean skin before external use. Discontinue use immediately if adverse reaction occurs.

Storage:

Preserve in airtight container and kept in dry place.
