Laurence has performed massage and hands on healing with many thousands of clients ranging from a few months old to the mid-nineties. He has worked with a variety of acute and chronic conditions and is comfortable with challenging circumstances. He has training, certification and strong skills in Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Therapy, Craniosacral Balancing, Onsen Technique, Muscle Energy Technique, Pregnancy Massage, and Myofascial Release and Unwinding.
Laurence is a Florida State licensed massage therapist (#MA10746). He is a 1989 graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage, Atlanta , Georgia, where he received training in Sports Massage, Polarity, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Massage and Deep Tissue Therapy. East West Herbalism: Laurence entered the world of herbal healing through using herbal product lines in the late 1980s and moved into professional herbal training in 1992. He was and continues to be a student of Michael and Lesley Tierra and their East West School of Herbology, and is a East West Certified Herbalist.
He has had hundreds of classroom hours of training as an herbalist and has had a professional practice since 1992. He has logged thousands of hours of personal experience and study in relation to herbal healing and has seen thousands of people in his role as an herbalist. Read more about East West Herbalism.
Energy Healing: After receiving a life-changing energy healing treatment in 1978, Laurence took his first class on vibrational healing in 1980. This was followed by more classes, life experience, and practice, culminating in a certification as an Attunement Practitioner in 1987. He has written three books on Attunement and energy healing.
Laurence’s interests include researching and writing about natural healing, energy healing, and local St. Augustine history. He is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, Florida State Massage Therapy Association, American Herbalists Guild, American Botanical Council, George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation, the Attunement Guild, and the St. Augustine Historical Society.
