How long do I have to come for treatments?
Everyone has different needs. We believe in treating people like adults and giving our honest opinion as to what length of time a patient needs to get well. The average shoulder problem, for instance, may take 5–6 visits. A severe shoulder problem (Such as a torn rotator cuff) may take 20 visits.
An herbal regimen usually requires the patient check in every 2 weeks or 1 time a month depending on how deeply seated the chronic health problem is. Some chronic health problems can take a year or more to heal. With an acute problem, an herbal patient may come in for only 1 visit.

Another way of putting it is…

Our rule of thumb is that if people keep continuing to improve, they will know it by their experience of renewed health, and they can make the decision as to whether they need to keep coming.

How many times a week do I need to come?
Most patients receive treatment 1 time a week. For more severe problems they may have to come in 2 times a week. Car accidents, for instance, may require that a patient comes in for 2–3 times a week because there is so much pain. As patients improve, treatments may be 1 time every 2 weeks. We recommend also reading the articles Five Steps of Rehabilitation and Phases of Healing to better understand how to get well.

What do herbs have to do with massage?
The structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the body are interdependent. Massage therapy helps heal the structure of the body, specifically the soft tissues. Herbs help support the physiological healing of the body because they contain many of the same chemical constituents that foods and nutritional supplements do. Think “sports nutrition.” Like many other chiropractors and massage therapists, we think it makes sense to help our patient’s healing with nutrition.

What are your credentials?
We have professional training, licenses, and certifications in many types of wholistic healing, herbal healing, massage therapy, energy healing, and advanced manual therapy. Read more about our training at: About Certifications and Trainings
