Plum Flower Bu Nao Pian Tablets

Bu Nao Pian nourishes the heart, strengthens the kidneys, clears and benefits the brain, tonifies blood, opens the orifices, transforms phlegm, extinguishes wind, subdues liver yang, calms the shen.

Indications:
Heart Blood and Kidney Jing-essence deficiency with phlegm misting the Heart and obstructing clear perception of the Shen. Presenting with poor memory, poor concentration, forgetfulness, confusion, disorientation, dull sensorum, mental fatigue, restlessness, insomnia, restless sleep, excessive dreaming, nightmares, anxiety, uneasiness, palpitations, fatigue or exhaustion. Bu Nao Pian is also useful for Liver Blood deficiency stirring internal wind presenting with headaches and dizziness. Tongue: pale, thick coat, possibly yellow Pulse: thready, slippery, wiry.

Alzheimer’s disease, senility, short term memory loss, neurosis, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, phobias, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, sleep disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, clinical depression

Standard Dosage:
4-6 tablets, 3 x day.

Clinical Dosage:
Administer Bu Nao Pian half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 6-8 tablets 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. For insomnia 6-10 tablets may be taken before bed. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years.

Schisandra chinensis fruit, Ziziphus jujuba seed, Angelica sinensis root, Cynomorium songaricum herb, Juglans regia seed, Lycium barbarum fruit, Platycladus orientalis seed, Uncaria rhynchophylla twig & thorn, Polygala tenuifolia root, Arisaema erubescens rhizome, Acorus tatarinowii rhizome, Albizia julibrissin bark, Cristaria plicata pearl, Sucrose, Talcum, Magnesium stearate, Hypromellose. – Wu wei zi, Suan zao ren, Dang gui, Suo yang, Hu tao ren, Gou qi zi, Bai zi ren, Gou teng, Yuan zhi, Tian nan xing, Shi chang pu, He huan pi, Zhen zhu, Sucrose, Talcum, Magnesium stearate, Hypromellose.

Cautions & Contraindications:
Contraindicated during pregnancy. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Contains tree nuts.

Product Notes: Bu Nao Pian has been reformulated. The Hu Po and Long Chi in the original formula have been replaced with He Huan Pi and Zhen Zhu, which have similar actions. This change was required to facilitate easier sourcing and importing of this product. The functions, actions and indications for Bu Nao Pian remain unchanged.
