The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Our liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

Herb Pharm prepares their Burdock Blend from the shade-dried root and the mature seed of Arctium lappa plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, or are Custom Wildcrafted in their natural wild habitat.

To assure optimal potency, the roots are harvested from first-year plants, and seeds from fully matured second-year plants. These are each extracted separately according to their individual biochemistry and are then blended together to produce Herb Pharm’s Burdock Blend.
