Chinese Bulk Herbs – Cinnamon Twig (Gui Zhi)
Cinnamon Twig is used to circulate blood, soothe pain in muscles, and bring on perspiration. It warms the blood and enhances Qi circulation. Cinnamon Twig can be taken for the common cold and congestion. It can also be taken for upset stomachs, rheumatic and arthritic diseases, irregular menses, numbness, palpitation, and chest pains.

Cinnamon twig (Gui Zhi) is highly valued in Chinese medicine due to its potency to promote blood circulation. It belongs to the family of Sassafras, found in North America, and is identically used to induce urination and enhance blood circulation.
