Herb Pharm Cleavers Tincture can be useful for swollen glands, tonsillitis, ulcers, cystitis & psoriasis. It is a soothing, relaxing diuretic.*

Cleavers are a soothing diuretic in both tea and tincture forms. Cleaver tinctures are also a lymphatic and glandular alterative which facilitates removal of catabolic wastes and facilitates repair of tissue. Additionally, it is cooling to fevers (but is not diaphoretic).

Herb Pharm prepares Cleavers Tincture from the flowering herb of fresh (never dried) Galium aparine plants grown on private Certified Organic farms in southern Oregon. This annual grows fast during cool seasons, and as a result it gets considered a common weed.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures the herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Our liquid extracts are easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

To assure optimal extraction of Cleavers’ bioactive compounds, the herb is hand-harvested while in flower, is carefully shade-dried and cleaned of foreign plant materials, and is then thoroughly extracted.

Herb Pharm Cleavers are never fumigated or irradiated.
