Chinese Bulk Herbs – Inula Flower (Xuan Fu Hua)
Inula Flower stops vomiting, promotes the discharge or expulsion of mucus. This flower helps to move qi downward and help reduce phlegm. Also known as Elecampane.
These bright yellow flowers dot fields and make for a great ornament in the garden. A cup of tea made from the flowers helps to quell the stomach and relieve coughs.
Clinical Use (Chinese):
Rebellious qi – from cold due to deficiency of stomach or spleen. Stops vomiting.
