Min Shan Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan

Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan Tonifies the Qi, Strengthens the Spleen and Stomach, Raises Sunken Yang. Can help with light fevers and their symptoms, diarrhea, weakness, and regulating menstrual bleeding.

Indications:
Middle jiao Qi deficiency leading to sinking of the Yang, presenting with intermittent low grade fever which is worse with exertion and during the day, spontaneous sweating, cold intolerance, thirst for warm drinks, shortness of breath, low and soft voice, pale shiny complexion, poor tone and weakness of the limbs, organ prolapse, poor appetite, bloating, fatigue after meals, loose stools, undigested food in the stools, chronic diarrhea, listlessness, fatigue, weakness, frequent colds or infections, bruising easily, excessive menstrual bleeding, continuous spotting, recurrent miscarriage. Symptoms may be initiated or exacerbated with fatigue or exertion. Tongue: pale, teethmarks, with a thin white coat Pulse: deficient, flooding or deficient and rootless at middle right hand position.**

Biomedical Applications:
Ptosis, rectal, anal, uterine, urinary bladder or gastric prolapse, hemorrhoids, hiatal hernia, chronic colitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, chronic hepatitis, post viral syndrome, idiopathic fevers, chronic fatigue syndrome, debility following severe illness, decreased immunological resistance, leukopenia, pernicious anemia, functional uterine bleeding, recurrent miscarriage, difficult labor, post-partum debility, lochioschesis, insufficient lactation, leukorrhea, urinary incontinence, chronic nephritis, muscle atrophy, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, progressive muscular dystrophy, corneal ulcers, cerebral arteriosclerosis, hypoglycemia, hypotension.*

Standard Dosage:
8 pills, 3 x day.

Clinical Dosage:
Administer Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years. Monitor for signs of Yin deficiency.**

Ingredients:
Astragalus membranaceus root, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root, Codonopsis pilosula root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Angelica sinensis root, Cimicifuga foetida rhizome, Bupleurum chinense root, Citrus reticulata peel, Ziziphus jujuba fruit, Zingiber officinale rhizome-fresh. – Huang qi, Gan cao, Dang shen, Bai zhu, Dang gui, Sheng ma, Chai hu, Chen pi, Da zao, Sheng jiang.

Cautions & Contraindications:
Contraindicated for conditions due to Yin deficiency. Contraindicated for conditions due to excess. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in hypertension as Huang qi/astragalus may raise blood pressure in some cases.**
